From August 10 to 15, 2026, the 25th Chinese Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (CGMO) was held at the High School Affiliated with Hunan Normal University, bringing together 39 delegations and more than 230 outstanding female competitors from provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across China, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, and Singapore, to compete and exchange mathematical skills. The Beijing girls' delegation for this competition consisted of 7 members, 4 of whom were from our school, with our school's Teacher Zhang Yumeng serving as team leader.
After two days of intense competition, our school's 4 competing students — Wen Jiahui, Lou Huaijin, Li Yitong, and Liu Pinmo — lived up to expectations, winning gold medals and finishing in the top 22 nationwide. They qualified for the 2026 Chinese Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) Winter Camp. RDFZ led all schools nationwide in the number of students advancing to the CMO Winter Camp in this competition, and set a new school record for the most female olympiad students advancing to the CMO Winter Camp in a single competition.
Number of students from each school advancing to the CMO Winter Camp at this year's Girls' Olympiad:

Among the 4 team members, Lou Huaijin is a current 11th grade (rising) student at our school, with competition coach Teacher Song Kun; Wen Jiahui, Liu Pinmo, and Li Yitong are all current 10th grade (rising) students at our school, with competition coach and junior high homeroom teacher Teacher Tang Xiaoxu. The head mathematics competition coach is Teacher Tang Xiaomiao.

Appendix: Introduction to the Chinese Girls' Mathematical Olympiad
The Chinese Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (CGMO) is organized by the Chinese Mathematical Society. It is a national high-level mathematics competition designed exclusively for female secondary school students in China. Since its inaugural edition in 2002, it has now completed twenty-five years of history. The competition aims to build a dedicated platform to encourage more girls to explore the beauty of mathematics and cultivate their passion for foundational disciplines, break down entrenched biases in mathematics and science education, and discover and nurture outstanding female reserve talent in mathematics. Over the years, it has attracted delegations from provinces, municipalities, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas, gradually growing into a youth girls' mathematics event with international influence. The competition uses a two-day written examination format, with 4 problems set each day, covering the four core competition areas of algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics, comprehensively assessing competitors' logical reasoning, constructive proof, and integrated problem-solving abilities. The top gold medalists in the competition may directly qualify for the Chinese Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) Winter Camp, making it one of the important channels for selecting China's top mathematical talent.
