In an era swept by the wave of artificial intelligence, how to cultivate curiosity, cross-disciplinary competencies, and the ability for independent inquiry has become a pivotal issue in the growth of young people. To this end, the High School Affiliated with Renmin University of China has joined forces with the Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence at Renmin University of China, Beijing Zhongguancun Academy, Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence, and DP Technology (Shenzhen) to jointly launch the "Youth STEAM × AI Inquiry-Based Learning Activity" (abbreviated as the SAIL Activity).
Information about this activity has been publicly released on the Bohrium platform of DP Technology (https://www.bohrium.com/competitions/76254986918). A showcase and exchange event is planned for early October. Students from primary and secondary schools across Beijing are welcome to register and participate, as are members of society who care about education.
Activity Highlights: 7 Real-World Problems, a New Cross-Disciplinary Inquiry Experience
This activity revolves around 7 interesting, real-world problems suitable for youth inquiry, covering humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, fully embodying the characteristic of cross-disciplinary integration with AI. The problems are divided into two categories:
3 problems with definitive answers: Students are required to design artificial intelligence methods to reason as accurately as possible.
4 open-ended inquiry problems: Students are guided to independently formulate research questions and conduct research.
