On October 9, 2025, the campus of the High School Affiliated with Renmin University of China (RDFZ) welcomed a delegation of teachers and students from the "Chinese Bridge — Technology Empowerment and Civilizational Exchange: Intelligent Manufacturing" Autumn Study Camp organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Leipzig, Germany. This visit used cultural exchange as its bond, building a bridge for cross-regional dialogue between teachers and students of both schools, and writing a new chapter in Sino-foreign educational exchange.

The delegation consisted of 17 German secondary school students and 2 German Chinese-language teachers. Accompanied throughout by two escort teachers from the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Renmin University of China and from Great Wall Chinese, they embarked on their campus exchange journey. At 1:30 p.m. that day, the delegation members entered the school in an orderly manner and strolled through the campus under the guidance of staff from our school's Office of Foreign Affairs. From the modern teaching buildings to the culturally rich activity spaces, from the energy-filled sports grounds to the library with its abundant collection of books, every scene left the German teachers and students with an intuitive and profound impression of RDFZ's campus environment and educational atmosphere.

After the campus tour, the exchange activities entered their core session. In Meeting Room 8 on the seventh floor of the High School Building, Wang Xiaonan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of RDFZ and Its Affiliated Schools Headquarters, received all members of the delegation. Deputy Secretary Wang Xiaonan extended a warm welcome to the visiting German teachers and students. She noted that exchanges between Chinese and foreign young people are an important means of promoting mutual learning between civilizations and deepening international friendship. She expressed hope that through this visit, the German teachers and students would gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese campus culture, and that it would also build a platform for multicultural exchange for RDFZ students. The delegation then watched an introduction film about RDFZ together, which offered a comprehensive presentation of the school's educational philosophy, curriculum system, signature activities, and educational achievements.

Cultural exchange knows no borders; artistic interaction warms the heart. At 3:30 p.m., the delegation moved to the Arts Palace, where they participated in a uniquely engaging music lesson together with Grade 8 students from RDFZ. Led by teacher Pu Xulu, students from both countries engaged in a rhythm game centered on the classic children's song "Two Tigers." After class, students from both countries gathered to chat, moving from music preferences to everyday study, from cultural customs to plans for the future. The differences in language did not hinder communication between them; sincere smiles and enthusiastic sharing became the most moving scene at the event.

As the exchange activities came to a close, the delegation of teachers and students from the Confucius Institute at the University of Leipzig left the RDFZ campus with great reluctance. Although the visit was brief, it left deep memories for teachers and students from both countries. It not only allowed the German teachers and students to experience at close range the educational practices and cultural charm of a Chinese secondary school, but also broadened the international horizons of RDFZ students through cross-cultural interaction, writing a vivid page in the promotion of friendly exchange between young people from China and Germany.
